Processing time

1-3 business days for most products. We will try our darnedest to ship next day. Apparel will ship within 3 business days.

Customs and import taxes

Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. We are not responsible for delays due to customs.

Returns & Exchanges 

If you've received a product and are unhappy with it for any reason, you are free to return the item to us up to 14 days after the purchase date in the original, unopened, and unused condition it was shipped in.

Contact us within: 5 days of delivery

Ship items back to us within: 14 days of delivery

Request a cancellation within: 12 hours of purchase

Please note:

  • Personal Care Products must be unused / sealed in their original packaging due to hygienic reasons.
  • Refused or returned shipments are subject to a return shipment fee.
  • If a product is defective, it can only be exchanged for the same product in replacement.
  • If you change your mind about a product, you will be responsible for all shipping charges.
  • Unless the return is due to an error on our part, we are not responsible for shipping and handling charges.

Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:

  • Custom or personalized orders

Conditions of Return

Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

Return Authorization

In the event that you would like to exchange or return your product, please contact us and include the following information: Order Number, Full Name, Phone Number or Email Address, and Reason for Return. We will provide you with detailed instructions on how to proceed with the exchange or return. 

Defective or Incorrect Products

If you've received a defective or incorrect item in your shipment, please contact us, and one of our customer service representatives will authorize a return or replacement. You will not be charged shipping charges for any mistakes we make while preparing your shipment.

Please note:

  • Some of the oils we use will solidify in cold temperatures. You can use a hair dryer to warm the oil to room temperature. This will return the oils to their liquid state. Solidification of oils is not considered to be a defective product.
  • All Choppy Seas Trading Company products are handmade in small batches and hand-packaged. There may be a slight variation in color, and sizing between the same products. Learn to love the imperfections in life.
